Well-fertilised and well-managed lawns do not normally have big weed problems. Problems occur when the level of management is minimal. A new way to obtain a weed free lawn is to use a mixture of grass and Microclover. Microclover supplies the grass with sufficient Nitrogen and together they form a dense and healthy cover leaving no room for weed invasion. |
| I am tired of buying and applying fertilisers to my lawn. How can I avoid this? |
By introducing the new lawn mixture containing Microclover. This can be done in two ways. Either by resowing the lawn completely, which is the most effective way, or by overseeding an existing lawn with a Microclover mixture. When using the latter method, it needs to be repeated several times. Together with Microclover seed, some of the new dwarf and dense growing grasses are introduced in order to give the very best balance of clover and grass. |
